Don't wait around wondering if you're depressed. Your symptoms could stay the same or get worse without proper treatment and self-care! Recovery is very possible, you just need to be self-aware of what you need to recover from (if anything).

Find out below by taking Beck's Depression Inventory, an evidence-based self-report that evaluates your possible chance/level of clinical depression. The questionnaire consists of 21 multiple-choice answers, allowing you to choose answers specific to your condition and get your results right away- no waiting for scores to be analyzed and sent to you (you can use the quick scoring guide just below).

The free depression screening is backed with psychological research to provide information to the test-taker about their state of mind. Anyone can take this test including, but not limited to, parents, teens, college students, doctors, patients, therapists, clients, and even adolescents. Your results will be kept private.

Note: This psychological screening test should not replace professional diagnosis. Always talk to a doctor before seeking treatment or changing your mental health routine.

Use the questionnaire below to help you determine if you show symptoms of depression. Then, check your scores with the quick scoring guide just below.

When it comes to your mental health, management is just as important as treatment and recovery. What's the difference? Management isn't looking for an end-game (not that there couldn't be one), it's main goal is to help you feel better with the health conditions and symptoms you're experiencing now. Treatment and recovery of mental illness can give hope for the future, however, many people need management of their present mental health for general well-being, and to prevent any worsening of conditions.
